It started with a long walk and two sisters living on the opposite side of the world. The idea was sparked by the question: What is it that you love that is uniquely you? Becca thought about her home and studio. She had a random selection of metal lockers. One flaky old one found on the side of the road, a few from antique stores and some new. She's always had a thing for lockers.

From that day in 2017 the work began to bring our colourful lockers to the world. We’ve grown so quickly and now have retail customers purchasing from our online stores worldwide. The count so far this year has been sales to 36 countries! We are also stocked by over 150 retailers in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Europe and the US – including Urban Outfitters, Oliver Bonas and Libertys London. In August 2021 we launched to retail customers in the US, with our wholesale operation to follow very soon. It’s an exciting time as there is lots more growth on the horizon. 

Most importantly, Mustard is a business that really cares about its staff. Our team is like a family. We support each other to make sure we all enjoy what we do and collaborate so everyone knows they have a team who really have their back. The Role

Mustard is looking for a Wholesale Admin Assistant to join our growing team.

Working closely with our Wholesale Account Manager, you will be responsible for the operational admin of our wholesale channel, as well as building stand-out relationships with our stockists. This role requires great accuracy & attention to detail, ensuring all business needs are met.

We are seeking someone passionate about processes, admin and customer experience. Day to day, you’ll be welcoming new wholesale customers to our Mustard family and getting them ready to trade. You will get to know the individual stores, how best to meet their needs and provide an excellent service. Multi-tasking comes with the territory, and having multiple projects on the go is how you thrive.

This role will be full-time in our London office, with some flexibility to work from home 1-2 days per week.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Building relationships with our wholesale accounts - from initial onboarding, placing orders, chasing invoices and ensuring stock replenishment

  • Processing orders for our key accounts + working with the warehouse team to book in deliveries

  • Keeping stockists up to date on product availability through our CRM

  • Provide data enrichment to key customers and ensure their accounts are up to date

  • Managing our wholesale inboxes to deliver excellent customer service and account management - processing refunds, order changes, troubleshooting issues where necessary

  • Resolving issues as quickly and efficiently as possible, ensuring the customer is updated at every opportunity and that all interactions have a positive outcome

  • Working closely with our Wholesale Account Manager + Merchandiser to streamline processes

  • Attend and help with trade shows as and when needed Assist with in-person stockist training (some travel may be involved)

    Skills

  • An understanding of e-commerce business, wholesale experience is a plus!

  • Experience working in global markets and across various sales channels

  • An expert in admin with working knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets, and Shopify

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • The ability to think creatively on process-driven tasks

  • Highly motivated and detail-oriented individual

  • A team player - able to jump in when needed
