The Original Locker Collection

The steel we use for the lockers is nice and sturdy. In the Skinny, Shorty, Twinny and Standard each shelf can hold up to 20kg, and in the Midi and Lowdown each shelf can hold up to 40kg.

On top of the lockers our recommended weight limit is 50kg, however on top of The Standard, our recommended weight limit is 150kg. For the Skinny and Twinny we’d recommend being careful with what you put on top, just in case it falls off!

The Glass Collection

In The Mixer and The Collector each shelf can hold up to 25kg. On top of The Mixer + The Collector, our recommended weight limit is 40kg. We suggest you avoid placing anything heavy on top of your locker (just in case it falls off!) and keep the heaviest items on the bottom shelves.

The Kit can hold up to 8kg on the shelf, and our recommended weight limit for the top is 10kg.

The Ledge 

The Ledge comes in 2 different sizes. The maximum weight capacity for each is:

Small: 10kg 

Large: 15kg 

Each locker has holes in the back to fix it to the wall for safety and extra stability.

The back panel of each locker has holes to allow you to attach it safely to the wall. We have a handy how-to guide here. Wall fixings are not provided so please consult a qualified tradesperson if you’re not sure which ones are suitable for your wall.

The Shorty comes in both opening options, to the left + to the right. Our standard is for the door to open to the right. The Skinny only comes in the standard right opening.

The Shorty in Mustard in the photo opens to the right. This means the handle is on the left and the hinge is on the right, the door swings open towards the right.

The Shorty in Blush in the photo opens to the left. This means the handle is on the right and the hinge is on the left, the door swings open towards the left.

Your locker will arrive flat packed, this makes transporting much more efficient.

It's easy! Mustard lockers are smartly designed so it's nice + simple. You'll find your instructions inside + only need a screwdriver to attach the handle, no other tools needed! Trust us! Click here for our how to videos.

Also, just incase you're making your locker + can't find a key... they come attached to the inside of the door! 

Our products are made from quality powder coated steel. They are strong and designed to last. 

The simple answer is nope. Our lockers are made from powder-coated steel which can rust if exposed to liquid or high levels of moisture over time. 

The longer answer is… We have had our products tested in a humidity testing lab and they passed the test with flying (mustard) colours. However, we want our customers to love our products long-term, so want you to have the most useful, honest information and would prefer to err on the side of caution!

We have seen lots of lockers in bathrooms or balconies and they do look amazing! When deciding where to put your locker, please consider the amount of moisture, humidity and ventilation of your room.

We don't have our own shop but we do have lovely stockists across the UK + Europe. Have a look here to find your nearest one.

TV boxes can be put inside lockers + the remote will still work with the door closed (The Standard or The Lowdown make great TV cabinets!)

Internet boxes can be kept inside your locker, but depending on how strong your internet speed is it can slow it down a little or make it not reach as far.

All of our original lockers have cable holes in the back and they are super handy! Single door lockers have one cable hole and double door (or more!) lockers have two, so you can keep extension cables and messy wires all neatly hidden away.

The lockers in our Glass Collection do not come with cable holes in the back panels.
