There's more to Mustard than locker love

From the very beginning, we wanted to make sure that our business made a positive impact, not just in living rooms and offices and play spaces, but on people too. 

That’s why in 2019 we partnered with Beam, an amazing social impact business. Beam uses crowdfunding technology to help people experiencing homelessness. Until the end of 2024, we donated £5 from every UK order to Beam, bringing us to a grand total of £207,202 over five years of donations. That’s a lotta Mustard! It’s one of our very proudest, most meaningful achievements.

In December 2024, Beam took the next step in their journey and stopped accepting donations, in favour of a new AI-powered business model. If you’ve ever shopped with us, we want to say a BIG thank you for what you helped us to achieve with Beam. Together we’ve changed 2177 lives, helping 1029 people find housing and 1038 people find work. That’s something we could never have dreamed of when we first thought about making beautiful lockers!
