Playrooms need to tick a lot of boxes. They’ll be the backdrop for everything that busy little people get up to — play, adventure, create, learn, read and explore. Then, they’ll need somewhere to store the things that go along with all that (hello lockers!) and hopefully look amazing simultaneously!

With new trends for kids' rooms and play spaces always popping up, we spoke to five fabulous stylists on how they create the perfect creative space for their kiddies.

After a recent feature on Apartment Therapy, we thought it was the perfect opportunity to ask Sophie some questions about colour, styling, her home story and inspiration... and her favourite Mustard Made locker, of course!

When we think about designing a beautiful, fun, playful and functional kids’ room, Minty magazine is our go-to inspo’ guide. As creator, editor and mum of two, Nicole Ray is the woman in the know about all things children’s design and we are so excited that she has shared her top tips for crafting a creative kid’s room.

We have teamed up with the lovely Jess and Lauren from Book Reccos on Instagram to give you some cosy, sitting on the sofa with a box of chocolates (next to your locker of course!) book recommendations for the season of luuuurve.

We'd like to introduce you to Interiors Blogger Melanie Boyden (@melaniejadedesign on Instagram!). Mel recently added The Lowdown in Olive to her life (her daughter’s choice!) We wanted to get to know her a little better and give you a peek at three different ways she chose to style her new locker in her home. 

There is nothing we love more than seeing lockers out there in the world and finding out how people use them in their own homes. When we saw the Lowdown in Blush pop up on the Instagram feed of Martha Brook London, it made our hearts so happy!

Martha Brook are creators of beautiful stationery, desk accessories and gifts. They also so happen to love Blush as much as we do and if you love to colour co-ordinate like us (who doesn't?!) their stationery matches our lockers beautifully.
